We are happy to announce that the Telly Awards has named Video Arts Studios as a winner in the 34th Annual Telly Awards for the educational video titled The Road to Little Rock.  Nearly 11,000 entries were received from all 50 states and numerous countries.   “The Telly Awards has a mission to honor the very best in film and video,” said Linda Day, Executive Director of the Telly Awards. “Video Arts Studios’ accomplishment illustrates their creativity, skill, and dedication to their craft and serves as a testament to great film and video production.”

The Road to Little Rock tells the courageous story of nine determined Little Rock, Arkansas teenagers and North Dakota Federal Judge Ronald Davies.  Judge Davies followed the law, ignored political pressure and required the school district in Little Rock to integrate “forthwith”. The actions of the Little Rock Nine and Judge Davies would change the course of the civil rights movement and
public school education in the United States.  This video was produced as part of an interactive curriculum which will be introduced in all North Dakota and Arkansas elementary, middle and high schools.

The Telly Awards was founded in 1979 and is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, the finest video and film productions, and online commercials, video and films. Winners represent the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators, and corporate video departments in the world.
